This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at hoosierroofcare.com, by phone, by text message (SMS), through social-media lead forms, and through AI-assisted assistants; how we use and protect that information; and the choices you have. It includes the specific terms that govern text messaging, phone calls, and interactions with AI-powered assistants.

We comply with applicable U.S. laws and industry rules, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and applicable state privacy and telemarketing laws. By using our website or services, or by providing information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you request a quote or estimate, contact us, schedule service, sign a consent form, or communicate with us. This may include:

• Your name, email address, and telephone or mobile number;
• Your property or mailing address;
• Details about your roof, home, or project (for example, photos, inspection needs, and service preferences);
• Payment information, which is processed by third-party payment processors (we do not store full card numbers); and
• Anything else you choose to include in a form, email, text message, chat, or phone conversation.

Text-messaging information

If you opt in to receive text messages, we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent (the date and time, the page or method used, the IP address, and the exact consent language shown to you). We also keep records of message activity such as replies and STOP or HELP requests.

Call and voice information

When you call us or we call you, we may collect the date, time, and phone numbers involved. Where permitted by law and disclosed to you at the start of the call, calls may be recorded, transcribed, or summarized, including by AI tools (see Section 5).

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website we automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 9.

Social-media lead forms

If you submit a lead form through Facebook or Instagram, we receive only the fields you agreed to share (for example, name, email, and phone number). See Section 6.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide quotes, estimates, inspections, scheduling, roof rejuvenation (Roof Maxx), roof tune-ups, roof washing, snow and ice removal, and related roofing services, and customer support;
• Communicate with you about appointments, reminders, quotes, service updates, and customer-care matters by email, by phone, and (only with your consent) by text message;
• Send promotional offers, seasonal specials, and similar marketing messages, only where you have given the consent required by law;
• Operate, secure, and improve our website, services, and internal workflows;
• Document your consent and preferences, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations; and
• Enforce our agreements and protect our legal rights.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) & Mobile Information

We send text messages only with your express consent. You give consent by checking the un-checked SMS consent box on our website contact form at hoosierroofcare.com/contact, our estimate request form at hoosierroofcare.com/quote, and our quick quote page at hoosierroofcare.com/getaquote and submitting your mobile number, by signing a written consent form during an in-person consultation or event, or by texting us a keyword to opt in. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes and estimates, service updates, and customer-care replies — the same message types listed next to the consent checkbox on our forms.

• Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us (typically no more than six messages per month).
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. After you reply STOP we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. We also honor other reasonable opt-out requests such as END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.

• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
• Your consent is a direct, one-to-one agreement between you and Hoosier Roof Care. It will not be transferred, rented, sold, or otherwise shared with any third party, and this opt-in information will not be shared with any third parties.
• Some text messages may be composed or sent with the help of automated systems or AI assistants acting on our behalf (see Section 5). Every such message is sent by, and on behalf of, Hoosier Roof Care only.
• We use a third-party messaging platform solely as our service provider to deliver messages on our behalf; it is contractually prohibited from using your mobile information for its own purposes.

4. Phone Calls & Voice Communications

If you provide a telephone number, we may call you about your request, your quote or estimate, scheduling, and the services you have asked about. We place marketing or promotional calls only with your prior express written consent, which you may give by checking the un-checked phone-call consent box on our forms or in writing.

• Calls may be placed by members of our team or, only with your consent, using automated dialing technology, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or an AI-powered voice assistant (see Section 5).
• Outbound calls from Hoosier Roof Care may display our business name as the caller identification so you know who is calling.
• Where we record, transcribe, or summarize a call, we tell you at the beginning of the call as required by applicable law.
• Consent to receive calls is not a condition of any purchase or service.
• You may ask us to stop calling at any time, during any call or by contacting us using the details in Section 14. We maintain an internal do-not-call list and honor the National Do Not Call Registry for marketing calls.

5. AI-Assisted Interactions

To respond quickly and serve you well, Hoosier Roof Care may use artificial-intelligence (“AI”) technologies in some of our communications. This section explains how.

Where we may use AI

• AI voice assistants that answer or place phone calls, collect your request details, answer common questions, and schedule appointments;
• AI messaging assistants that draft or send replies by text message, email, or website chat; and
• AI tools that transcribe, summarize, or route conversations into our customer-relationship system so a team member can follow up.

Disclosure and your right to a human

• When you interact with an AI assistant, we identify it as an automated or AI assistant (for example, at the start of a call or conversation).
• You may ask to speak with, or be contacted by, a person at any time, and we will arrange that.
• AI assistants do not make final decisions about pricing, contracts, warranties, or your eligibility for services; a member of our team reviews and confirms those matters.
• AI-generated information can contain errors. Please confirm important details, such as quotes, dates, and prices, with our team.

Consent for AI calls and messages

Calls made with an AI voice assistant or an artificial or prerecorded voice, and text messages sent by automated means, are made only with the consent required by law, which you may give by checking the un-checked consent boxes on our forms. You may revoke that consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, by telling us during a call, or by contacting us (Section 14).

How AI-related data is handled

• Conversations with AI assistants may be recorded, transcribed, summarized, and stored in our internal systems so we can serve you and improve our service quality.
• AI service providers process this data only on our behalf, under contracts that restrict them to providing services to us and prohibit them from using your information for their own marketing.
• We do not sell your personal information, conversation content, or mobile information to anyone. No mobile information or text-messaging opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Social-Media Lead Forms (Facebook / Instagram)

If you submit a lead form through Facebook or Instagram:

• We collect only the data fields you explicitly agreed to share (for example name, email, phone number, and property details);
• We use that data solely to contact you about the services you expressed interest in, in the ways described in this Policy; and
• We do not sell or rent this lead data to third parties.

Data deletion requests

To have data you submitted through a social-media lead form (or any other data) removed from our systems, send a request with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” using the contact details in Section 14, and include the email address or phone number you used. We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm once it is done, subject to any records we must keep by law.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share information only:

• With service providers and subcontractors that perform functions on our behalf, such as messaging and telephony platforms, AI assistant and transcription providers, customer-relationship software, website hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and field subcontractors who help deliver your service, all under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide our services;
• When required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of others; and
• In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

8. Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) on our website and access controls on our internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to document your consent, or as required by law.

9. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, security, and analytics (for example, to understand which pages are visited). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some website features. Analytics data is not linked to your mobile information or SMS opt-in data.

10. Your Choices & Opt-Out Rights

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.
• Phone calls: tell us during any call, or contact us, to be placed on our do-not-call list.
• AI assistants: ask for a person at any time; we will arrange a human follow-up.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.
• Access, correction, deletion: contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (for example, review sites, maps, or social networks). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
